Kerbal Space Program 1.0 has made flying and reaching orbit a brand new challenge. The atmosphere will ignore the intentions of your craft and flip it in the wrong direction. Heat shield? No, let's point the nose of the craft into the fire. Deadly reentry indeed. Can Valentina and Jebediah brave the Kraken? Or worse, is this not the Kraken at all?

In subsequent videos I figure out and fix some of the issues presented in this video. But let this one stand as a good reflection that Kerbal Space Program 1.0 is a new experience even for experienced players. Also note that, according to viewers, at the time of this recording there was a bug where heat shields would have mass but would not shift a ship's center of mass. That explains so much.
