I love your channel man, but GDQ, or at least it's administration and leadership is awful, and they really don't deserve to be promoted in the slightest
For starters, you mentioned in your video that you don't like the ban on swearing they have. Even though that ban was a very recent edition (Historically swearing at 2014 and before was always allowed) it's not the only thing they've banned people for doing. For example, there's a speedrunner named Big John who for years was trying to play NES Golf at a GDQ. At the end of one of his runs at SGDQ 2015, he waved a copy of NES Golf in front of the camera. For doing this, all his runs got rejected by GDQ staff, and when he attended the show as a guest that year, he was harrassed and followed by staff. All because he wanted to play a game at the event he loves and has a passion for. Now GDQ has a rule against bringing up politics on stream. However their application of this is questionable at best. For example they banned PrivateCinnamonbun because people around him wore MAGA hats, even though Cinnamonbun himself did not, and VODS prove this. When Cinnamonbun proved this they instead banned him for pulling out a powerstrip, again with no evidence. (https://youtu.be/L5TGFEoidEM?t=278)
It doesn't stop there, as RHWhiteGoose, a popular Goldeneye runner, got banned for sharing his private political opinions in his private Discord server, with no relation to GDQ whatsoever. While GDQ rules prevent runners from sharing political views on the stream or at the event, a private discord server with no relation whatsoever to GDQ definitely isn't even close to breaking those rules. Similarly, Trihex, an equally popular speedrunner, got banned after using derogatory language on his own Twitch channel, again with no relation to GDQ. So GDQ can ban people for private political opinions they share in private places, and for derogatory language said on someone's personal Twitch channel. Keep in mind, this is despite ADGQ NOT banning Stivitybobo, a man who got a 18 year old married woman (Who cannot legally drink meaning Stivitybobo committed a federal crime) drunk to the point of vomiting, and then proceeded to have sex with her while she was drunk (possibly rape)

Beyond that, PCF is an awful charity, which piggybacks off GDQ for their funding, then steals all the money. 1/6 of their profits come from GDQs, and they spend most of this money on making posters, fundraising, management, and "community outreach" (whatever that means). While I'm not a fan of MSF either, at least the grand majority of their donations go towards the causes they claim to support.
