Just a full, unedited playthrough of Saber Cut on Master difficulty with High Lethality enabled.

A lot of people seem to have trouble with this mission... Which comes down to a fundamentally wrong approach. This is by far not played "optimally", but it's how I have been beating the mission since my first Ops playthrough and it has worked every single time without issues. All you have to do is... do the thing you are actually here for (and then just toy with the enemy for 2/3 of the operation).

Instead of banging your head against the enemy's well fortified wall in the center... just go around. The main objective are the targets on the other end of the map - the hold objectives are only secondary. Ignore them, move up the eastern side of the map and destroy the rocket launchers there in phase 1, and you already have the win. And this does not even get significantly harder as you increase the difficulty. The only thing it really changes is whether you dominate or utterly crush the enemy.

The other problem probably is that most players are too reliant on brute forcing everything by throwing tanks at it, but you don't really get any in this Op. The solution: learn how to use the mech inf (and really anything else). Go for flanking attacks and make sure you concentrate your firepower. You should almost always have your units in "hold fire" mode so that they do not give themselves away. Only engage on your own terms!

At that point the whole thing becomes an almost comically easy turkey shoot as you roll the map up from behind. There are only a small handful of "mobile" enemy groups (and only very few counter attacks even on Master), the majority of enemies are completely stationary and do not care at all. The AI barely reacts to anything you do and you have almost completely free reign aside from the enemy artillery and the occasional CAS.

But none of that even really matters as anything after destroying the rocket launchers is basically just a bonus. Again, after destroying those, you have already enough victory points for at least a minor victory (with the scouting objective you should already have the "proper" victory). You literally can not lose anymore after that and it's just a question how much you want to dominate.
