Reidio's Response to Generikb's Pumpkin Pie Farm!
27*** I WAS WRONG! I left the minecart chickens running for a while and it would seem they block more eggs than I originally thought. While the ladder does have the smallest hit box, the way the chickens split up in the cart and the way eggs pop backwards out of chickens makes a lot of the eggs end up on the ladder. In the end, the fence post is the best to use over pretty much anything else.***
Just throwing a couple ideas out there that you may or may not have already thought of. Figured if it can help in any way, then why not?
Things I've tested chickens standing on:
-Fence Post
-Glass Panes
-Iron bars
-Lily Pad
-Anything you can stick on a wall + Minecart
-Fence Gate (open and closed)
-Doors
-Boats
-Ladder+Minecart
