Remix La-hee・Civilizations - Final Fantasy XIV 【Synthesizer V Shian / 诗岸】 [Infinity-MORPH] + Midi
5FINALLY I got the motivation to do this remix; you have no idea how long this project has actually been stalled. x'3
(Spoiler: Since yon Fanfest which give us a sneak-peek of this theme.)
However, let's be blunt... It's nearly impossible to find a Civilizations-Midi via Google-Search.
》The one my arrangement is based on comes from yon database for Bard Performance – and I can't help but assume this file was uploaded in an incomplete state.
If you're curious about the edits, the process began already with the lyrics. In the original .mid aren't all vocal-lines present AND the stuff that's there is not always accurate.
Next to small altering of Piano, Flute plus Oboe, what truly complicated this remix for me was the total absence of Bass, Strings and Drums in spite of them having dedicated layers. A Choir hadn't even been planned, apparently, though adding that part was fortunately the least obstacle.
Anyways, after finishing the tinker-aspect, I had pondered what to do in terms of looping this thing. The BGM's obvious break isn't really my cup of tea, you see.
》Luckily, Soken himself had delivered a solution for my problem with his legendary La-hee performance on a Fanfest. (If you haven't seen it yet, please invest some time. Your sense of humour will be very happy, believe me.) Having the instruments play for a moment by themselves is indeed quite charming.
My pick for the Mainvocals has always been set in stone, by the way. (Shian's elemental theme is earth, after all.) New is the morphing part, of course, and I consider sticking to this method as often as it's convenient until we might get updated Medium5-Voicebanks.
Last but not least, my VRoid-Shian was just as last time quite helpful for creating a cover-art. UധU ( The preset-outfit suffers a little due to her short torso. :coughcough: )
I combined a screenshot of hers with one of the Rak'tika Greatwood (the light-y weather is possible thanks to New Game+) and slapped them together with some textures until the result you can see appeared~
P.S. In the choir-section of this remix happens next to a guest-appearance of Cangqiong an unofficial premiere of sweet jellyfish-girl.
