The battery in my Dyson v7 Animal cordless vacuum cleaner is no longer lasting more than a few seconds after trying to fully charge it.
It just doesn't store a charge anymore.
You can find replacements on the internet, Be sure that it suits your model. There are many Dyson models which all vary in design.
Replacing the battery was quite quick and easy.
All I needed was a small phillips head screwdriver.
When screwing the screws back in, don't screw to hard, just hard enough as it was when you first removed the screws.
