I use the FurBuee wireless UHF mic directly in my iPhone, using the supplied USB to lightning adapter.
I first try the default iPhone inbuilt microphone.
I then try the supplied lapel microphone,
and then the supplied headset microphone.
The lapel and headset microphones sound better.
The lapel rubs against your clothes a bit so you need to manage the cable to loop outwards away from your shirt. It also picks up more surrounding noise.
The headset mic is more directional.

Disclosure : I was sent the Furbuee mic for free by the manufacturer in order the create a video review about it.
