In this video, I take you through the cards that support HDR capture, the render settings to use for Adobe Premiere Pro 2021 and 2022, as well as how YouTube displays HDR videos.
Rendering in HDR is a time consuming process that most people won't even reach most people. It requires your viewers to have a device that supports HDR. While that's becoming more and more common with newer mobile devices, PCs are another story. The user needs to have a graphics card that supports HDR, along with a monitor that does as well. So while I'm sure in another 3-5 years, most people will have HDR devices, you're still only reaching a fraction of your viewerbase when outputting HDR content. Don't worry though, as YouTube will surface an SDR version of your content to anyone who can't see HDR.
