Repairing Edge Damage the Cheap and Simple Way
The quickest (but not easiest) method to repair a damaged sword blade is with a belt grinder and progressively finer grit belts, while the most thorough way is with high quality water stones. But what about the cheapest, simplest? All you need is a file, and some sandpaper.
So in this video I show you how I remove very noticeable nicks and notches in a blade, with minimal tools. It's not the prettiest, most painstakingly precise result by any way, but it doesn't take a lot of time and it gets the job done.
