Nearing the end of Repton 2. This video only contains two screens, M and E, since the latter is one of the longest, hardest (and most iconic) levels in the game. Screen M is also memorable, as it is the only level that uses the fact that in this game, unlike the rest of the series, Repton can walk through a cracked egg. On the PC remake (http://www.superiorinteractive.com/repton/2.htm if you've forgotten) this is not necessary to pass the level, but on the BBC you can't take the monster "over the top" as it will lose track of Repton as soon as it is off the coordinated portion of the screen.

Screen E involves another gameplay rule unique to Repton 2: spirits can move through the key, so the cage on the left is not connected (and cannot be connected without taking the key, which requires rescuing a diamond on the far right first). The second monster is a nasty piece of work: here I only just manage to deal with him in time, but I don't have time to unblock the cage on both sides, which would have saved about half a minute as I could have connected the lower cage immediately. Still, as the meteors are absolutely vicious on this level I didn't feel like redoing it.

The music for this video is Scott Joplin's Pineapple Rag.
