The last level of Ripton, played on the BeebEm BBC Micro emulator.

Ripton is an unofficial clone of Repton 1, made by Kenton Price, with ten new level designs. Apart from somewhat different character sprites, the clone is extremely faithful; the only gameplay difference I have been able to discern is that you cannot Repton shuffle an egg.

This last level is an interesting challenge. It begins with a section where the diamonds must be collected without allowing any rocks to fall and block off the final area -- an early anticipation (the game was written in 1986) of the puzzles found in the Volcano scenario in Repton Spectacular. Then there is a two-column shuffle of 72 rocks, with some foresight required to clear enough room for the rocks to land in. Ironically, Repton Spectacular (http://www.superiorinteractive.com/repton/spectacular.htm) includes a level called "E.R.S.", intended to stand for Extreme Repton Shuffle. It could stand for Easy Repton Shuffle in comparison with this level! The final area, fortunately, is not too tough, even without the ability to Repton shuffle an egg (which would have made it almost trivial).
