I've been listening to him prattle on about how he hates other people's works and how their books are unsuitable for the human utopia he has in his mind, however, now he sits here and fucking boasts about being a true visionary writer!

In my experience, artists of all forms, the good ones, are rarely, if ever, confident of their own creations. Him sitting there, claiming that his pen was some mighty word that was going to carve out history and bring mankind to the promised land just makes my blood boil. Even when I think something I've written is good, I certainly don't have the balls or my head so far up my ass that I'd claim it would shake the world to its very core.

All I care about is if any of my stories entertain people and they get some enjoyment out of the escapism!
