Because I'm so into the retro TV shows, the only thing I kept thinking of when looking at the name was the theme tune to Ulysses 31!

The book, however, tells of the diverse events which befall Leopold Bloom and Stephen Dedalus in Dublin on 16th of June 1904, during which Bloom's voluptuous wife, Molly, commits adultery.

It seems that it was controversial due to being fairly experimental and many people disgusted with the subject involved. As if adultery is something that is only ever black and white and discussing anything further is vile or even pornographic. That being said there are many reasons for this to happen and I'm not going to go through them as I have no actual idea what the reasons are for Molly to have done this. It may have been a fling or something more varied.
