Rescue Mission - Sega Master System (emulated) with Sinden Lightgun
Rescue Mission for Sega Master System.
I'm playing this on a Raspberry Pi 5 using the Sinden Lightgun.
I've done my best to remove the screen flash from the video and I think I did a decent job, but you may see a little bit of flicker on some grey areas of the track as a result.
Rescue Mission is a fun lightgun shooter for the Sega Master System where you play the role of aerial support protecting your army medics as they rescue wounded soldiers in enemy territory. The medics carry no weapons so its up to you to kill any enemies that threaten them on their mission. be careful not to shoot your wounded allies yourself as you can kill them.
You have three medics to defend, serving as "lives". If one dies then its the turn of the next to carry out the rescue mission until either the mission is complete or all of your medics die.
Each medic has a distinct character trait. The first is Mike who is slow but steady. The second is Steve who is lazy so frequently stops for a rest, and the third is John who is the fastest of the three.
There are five stages in all. I completed the game in Easy mode and took it down to my final man. I believe the ending can vary depending on how many medics survived and how well you did.
