The Subspace Emissary is the Adventure Mode of Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Nintendo Wii. It is a huge leap from the Adventure Mode of the previous game, Super Smash Bros. Melee, adding a story, tons of more platforming stages and awesome cutscenes! Almost all the characters in the game makes an apperance (the exceptions are Toon Link, Wolf and Jigglypuff, but they can be unlocked and played with in it after beating it) and plays a role, smaller or bigger. It all starts with Mario and Kirby having a friendly battle with one another, when suddenly the Halberd, Meta Knights ship, appears and starts dropping a shadowy substance everywhere...
When this first came out, I was amazed at all the cutscenes ( I still kinda am), story and how big this Adventure Mode is. It's like its own game within the game! It's a bit sad to me that they've not done anything like this again so far, because this is great! Even though the game has 0% dialogue, it manages to tell the story really well with the cutscenes. You can also play it with 2 players in co-op if you've got a friend!
