Gurkhas won the right to settle in the UK in 2009, and since then thousands have made the move to Britain with mixed success.

In Nepal, there is still a high demand for resettlement. The Gurkha Settlement Office in Kathmandu handles an average of 800 enquiries a month.

Forces News has been to meet the team helping veterans through the application process.
