The B Story is well known for introducing the prototype to a bad guy that would become a problem in Resident Evil 3... essentially this is Mr. X he is a bioweapon that is purposed for one thing... stalking you and making your life a misery.

But he is killable although he won't stay on the ground for long, in the remake he is going to be the big major change because for the second half of the police station, he is going to be a relentless chasing threat that can't be stopped.
