Part 10 - The Final Boss Fights and Escaping The Lab [End]
We have come to the end of Leon's story, but there are a few things we have to do first. We head down to the basement where we were utterly destroyed last time, only this time we are more prepared, and dispatch all the zombies before triggering the lickers. We also remember the code for the chemical mixing station, so are able to unlock that and solve that puzzle before heading down. Down here we have to restore power, so we can cool the chemical before administering it. We find a device that lets us tune to different frequencies that allow us to restore power. We take our chemicals to the cooling station, then head back up to the administration room and dump the chemicals in, destroying plant 42 for good. We go to claim our chip upgrade, but are visited by our old fried Mr. X again, and get to running over to the West labs with our level 3 clearance, hoping he won't catch us. Over here, we see some more horrifying experiments, and grab what we came for. The G-virus sample. We snag it and attempt to leave, but are stopped by Annette. She hints that maybe Ada isn't who she says she is, but before we can unpack that, we are attacked by Birkin again in his super G form. She lowers us both down into an arena, and a boss fight commences, where we have to take him down for good. We escape and leave through the door we came in, just in time to catch Ada and confront her. She pulls a gun on us, but Annette shows up in the nick of time to shoot at her and cause us to drop the G virus sample. The building begins to self destruct, and we have to take the elevator down to the shuttle. We are visited from Mr. X again during this escape, and run away until we reach a lift. Of course, it's not the most peaceful of rides, as Mr. X, now on fire, catches up to us and we have to unload everything we got. Suddenly, a rocket launcher comes out of nowhere, secretly from Ada who is watching from above, and we blast him to pieces, as we reach the bottom. We finally escape the lab with a few minutes to spare, and reunite with Claire, and a small child who we will undoubtedly come to know in her playthrough. But with that, we've reached the end of Leon's story, and my what a stressful journey it was. Thank you all for supporting this playthrough, I had a blast, and hopefully you all did watching it as well. Until we meet again in Claire's side of the story!
