Part 7 - Ada Vs. Annette In The Sewers
We pick up where we left off at the entrance of the sewers, and jump on in to see what horrors await us here. Shortly after entering the water, we are attacked by the giant alligator we saw at the end of the last episode. We run away from the creature until it bites down on a gas line and we blow it up with one shot to the tank. A little disappointing, but it won't be long until we get our fill of terror down here. We regroup with Ada and soon run into the scientist she's been talking about, Annette, who shoots at us and wounds Leon. While he recovers, we take control of Ada and get to use her fancy hacking device to open doors and blow up vent fans. Of course, there are some zombies on the way too, as we chase down Annette. What may be the most surprising though, is that Mr. X, the big Tyrant himself, shows up out of nowhere again and starts chasing us while we're trying to quickly solve puzzles. We manage to get away from him, while Annette is getting away from us. We find ourselves going after an I.D. bracelet that is at the back of an incinerator and wouldn't you know it, Annette locks us in and turns it on while we try to hack our way out of here. We free ourselves and continue chasing her, but soon our luck runs out and she gets the better of us while crossing a platform. She moves a platform into us, and knocks us into the garbage heap down below. We're trapped for now, but meanwhile, Leon is coming to. We take control of our boy again, and follow after Ada, but finding our own path since we don't have a fancy hacking device. We stumble through the water and down a drain into the lower levels, where the true horrors of the sewers lie. These gross masses of flesh with a snake like head, that hide in the water waiting to ambush us. We hate this area, and hope to get out soon. We start making our way back up, where we find a puzzle involving different plugs shaped like chess pieces and will have to return to this later when we find them. We connect a few areas via unlocked doors, and find a hidden elevator behind a cabinet, that takes us back up to hidden chamber under the police station. We make our way up and check on Marvin who's still dead, and decide to take a break. We will conquer the rest of the sewers, next time.
