Resident Evil 4 PS5 4K 60FPS - Professional - The Final Chapter (Ending + Review)
All that's left is the final boss. Head up the stairwell and through the door. Here you can find the merchant to purchase any last-minute items or upgrades. Once that's done, head down below. For this fight, I didn't use a Rocket Launcher.
Saddler: Well, the final boss. And actually a really fun one too, depending on how you attack him. Saddler can hit Leon hard, so make sure to keep your distance. What you want to do is wait until you hear his eyes squint and once they do, you should find them open. When they are, shoot at them with your pistol (a magnum isn't needed). With that, he will lower his eye which you can either shoot or knife (I chose to knife to save ammo).
The hardest part is making sure Leon stays alive as Saddler can deal quite a bit of damage. Use the Ditman Glitch if you have the Striker to keep your distance and the the nearby cranes to get a free hit or two out of him. In order to get Ada to throw the Special Launcher, you'll need to knife his eye roughly 12-15 times. A lot, I know, but it goes quicker than you think.
One trick to use like I did is use the Ditman Glitch, quickly rush over the bridge before it collapses and if you're quick enough, you can shoot his eye. By the time the animation to lower his eye is done, the bridge should be back up and allow you to cross. Then once it goes away, head back over the bridge.
Because this is the final boss, don't be afraid to go all out. I was a bit conservative, but with a x100 shotgun bullets, I could easily lasted a bit while longer.
After the boss fight, take the 100000 PTAS as your reward along with the keys and head back towards the elevator. A small cutscene with Ashley will occur. Head down the hallway and down the ladder and use the jet ski. For the last part, merely steer and you should be on your way. Dodge the oncoming rocks and then you're home free!
Sit back and enjoy the ending to Resident Evil 4 on Professional mode. As a reward, you can now use the P.R.L. 412 on your next playthrough, killing all enemies in one-shot.
Congrats and enjoy!

Overall thoughts...
Game runs well. No issues and no hiccups. Load times are near instant and even though this game came out in 2005, it still feels extremely fresh.
+ (Positives)
+ Addictive gameplay
+ Merchant
+ Regenerators
+ Cheesy B-Grade movie script
+ Weapon upgrade system
+ Chapter length (exception to 4-1, 5-1 which could be a tad shorter)
+ Graphics still hold up pretty well
+ Soundtrack (Serenity is up there with A Moment of Relief)
+ Immense replay value with unlocking weapons/costumes
+ Mercenaries/Assignment Ada/Separate Ways
+ Perfect blend of Action/Horror
- (Negatives)
- Leon not being able to move and shoot (though some think that's a positive for horror)
- Krauser's last-minute arrival (almost felt tacked on)
- Most of chapter 5-4 (too much action)
- Outside of showing the expansion of the virus, the story doesn't evolve in any meaningful way beyond Ada returning and receiving one of the samples used for Las Plagas.
This game has stood the test of time and there's a reason its been ported to nearly every system by now (even though Shinji Mikami was adamantly against this idea lmao). The pacing is nearly the best in any video game, the upgrading of weapons is fun without being overly complex and the characters never take themselves too seriously. The added 60FPS on the release for PS4 makes it even better, as I'm having trouble finding any real, major flaws with the game.
Shinji Mikami should be extremely proud for creating this game, as it went on to influence the entire gaming industry in one way or another.
Resident Evil 4: 10/10
Resident Evil 4 on PS5: 11/10 (even better load times than the PS4, which I didn't think was possible)
Hope you guys liked the playthrough!
Enjoy and good luck!
