Once you collect the items and talk with the merchant nearby, head through the door and into the dining room area. At the far end there is a picture that will flip up after ringing the bell. You want to shoot the wine glass to unlock the gated doorway.
You can head east and grab items in the other room if you want or wait until you get Ashley back. Your choice.
Once you head into the gated area, turn left and you can grab a Flash Grenade if you're careful before setting off the trap. If the trap goes off, hopefully you have a Hand Grenade with you. Toss one if you do to unlock the door and keep your distance from the Garrador and ganados.
Kill the ones that remain and grab the treasure in the chest if you want before heading off into the next room. It's much easier said than done and as you can see in my video, you're odds of dying are pretty high if you're not quick enough.
Following Leon into the next room, you'll want to turn the lever down below. Kill the ganados nearby and turn it to activate the platform above. Climb back up the ladder and a horde of ganados will appear on both ends. Choose one side and take them out. When they're defeated, head west to clear the remaining ganados and you can find a glass case with a Rocket Launcher and several other goodies while you're there. Pick them up and then head back around and walk across the platform to the door at the far end. Head up the steps and you'll find the merchant.
I would recommend talking with the merchant as you'll get access to the largest attache case in the game, so go ahead and buy it if you have the money. Once you're done upgrading anything you want, head through the door to get a small cutscene with Luis.
And that's the end of the chapter.
Overall, not too bad. The hardest part will definitely be the caged fight with the Garrador. Don't both staying in there as the enemies nearby will kill Leon quickly and you'll deplete your health items fast. Instead, shotgun the locks or use a grenade to take them out and kick the door down before running away to keep distance.
