I tried both frame rate/resolution quality settings and got weird stuff. The shotgun shells saving the wall break was priceless. Falling through the floor and the random cow on fire, hell cow or bull was wild.

No idea how people overrated this game but it's wasted potential with bugs. I did have a crash too. This article lied to market the game (though I did read there are bug fixes but also censorship of the women). https://blog.playstation.com/2023/03/22/ps5-creators-how-resident-evil-4-harnesses-ps5s-power/

The parry is a nice addition but your knife can break down (and there is assisted mode if you need easy). Definitely find the shotgun ASAP in chapter 1, as the experience is epic when the graphics don't mess up.


I saw worse bugs here but it looks like as of 4/24/23 they are implementing bugfixes to enhance the game:
