Chapter 2-2: Another pretty hectic chapter. A lot going on throughout every section and with no breaks in-between. As soon as you start the chapter, I'd recommend a Rocket Launcher to take out the dogs. It has a wider range of impact and on Professional, the dogs can take you down to Danger extremely fast. Fire off several near the trains and pick off the majini above you before heading into the mines.
For the mines, have the AI carry the lamp (in this case Sheva) while you take down the majini. This way you're in control instead of relying on the AI, which can definitely kill you if you're not careful. Once you reach the crank, have your AI head beyond the gate. Several majini will come up behind you. Take them out and head beyond the gate and into the open mining room.
This section can get quite hectic. I would recommend staying near the gate as several enemies will spawn right above you and if you're not looking, they can strike either you or Sheva if you're not careful. Instead, equip the Rocket Launcher and take out the bowmen atop the rocks and pick them off until they're gone. If the battle music stopped, that means you've cleared the enemies in that area and can head forward. Be patient and keep your distance. As you near further up the area, you'll see several dynamite-carrying majini near the elevator. Take them out with a rocket and proceed to the final and arguably, most difficult part of the chapter.
For the Mining Area, after skipping the cutscene, immediately head down and make sure to take out the majini next to the Gatling gun. It only takes one shot to land and two to kill you. Whatever you do, kill him first! With that out of the way, have Sheva pluck off the remaining bowmen and head towards the ladder.
This is where things get really chaotic.
Watch the top of the rocks for the spawn points of the majini. When you head down the ladder into the second half of the Mining Area, you'll get a small cutscene showing a winding path. Whatever you do, stop! Instead, remain near where you dropped down as more majini will come at you from where you entered. Standing in the same spot, have Sheva attack the enemies while you use your Rocket Launcher to take care of the far away majini. If any of the dynamite lands on either of your characters, you're gonna end up dead. This is the one section where you need to be on the lookout and overly cautious. Especially with it being right at the end of the chapter.
Once you take care of the majini head up the winding path and push dumpster to reach the final section of the chapter.
Popokarimu, the boss you face, can be destroyed with a couple rockets. If you think you're Accuracy is low, don't be afraid to pull out the magnum and up it with a couple shots. After that, fire several rockets and that should be the end of the chapter.
Overall a pretty difficult chapter with a lot going on. Definitely be more cautious than usual, especially when near the mountainside before the boss at the end.
But don't worry, the next chapter is arguably THE hardest for those using AI (like myself) on Professional difficulty. This was merely a warmup for the next chapter. Now onto (in my opinion) the second hardest chapter in the entire game for S Rank on Professional...
