A video series has recently been giving insight into the Resident Evil franchise. From Shinji Mikami being humble about Resident Evil 4's camera to Capcom originally wanting Resident Evil 7 to be a live service game with online multiplayer and microtransactions. Mikami remains humble about RE4 today and Capcom apparently put pressure on the development team to implement such features in the then new installment of Resident Evil.
