DEVELOPMENT:
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is a survival horror video game developed and published by Capcom. The game was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in January 2017, with the PlayStation 4 version having support for the PlayStation VR headset. It is the 24th entry in the Resident Evil franchise, and the first main series installment to be played from a first-person perspective.
STORY:
Players assume the role of Ethan Winters, a young man who receives a phone call from a woman claiming to be Ethan's wife Mia. Mia supposedly died sometime in 2014, starting Ethan on a journey that would lead him to Dulvey, Louisiana
GAMEPLAY:
The game will be played in first-person. Unlike other games in the genre such as Amnesia: The Dark Descent and Outlast, the player will be able to use weapons and fight back against enemies, although players shouldn't be expecting a "gun fest" The developers have confirmed other popular elements of Resident Evil games such as puzzle solving, resource management and healing herbs will also feature in the game. Quick time events, on the other hand, will be entirely absent.
