Resident Evil 7 biohazard, known in Japan as Biohazard 7 resident evil (Japanese: バイオハザード7 レジデント イービル Hepburn: Baiohazādo 7 Rejidento Ībiru?), is an upcoming survival horror game developed by Capcom, slated for a January 2017 release on the systems PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The PS4 version includes full PlayStation VR support.The game will be the eleventh entry into the main Resident Evil series, and it will be a break from the traditional third person viewpoint adventures, rather being a first-person game, hereby making it the only main Resident Evil entry to be first-person to date, excluding the spin off Gun Survivor titles and bonus extras, i.e. the battle mode in Resident Evil: Code Veronica.
The game was announced during E3 2016 following numerous rumors. Later that day, a gameplay demo was released which enabled players to control the main protagonist as he explored a house near the Louisiana bayou, which is situated in America.
The game has drew up comparisons to rival company Konami's cancelled Silent Hills title, which was also intended to be a first-person horror game that would have perhaps rejuvenated interest in the eponymous franchise, after also being a genre stalwart. However, Capcom insist this is due to mixed reactions from the fans.
