Resident Evil 8 NEW GAME Village of Shadows -Part7: Traversing the ROOFTOPS & looting rest of CASTLE
0Oh boy, what did I get myself into with this... If you want to hear a grown man cry, you've come to the right place! Seriously though, let's see if I can actually finish this and how much raging and whining we are left with. Will there actually be anything left of me, or will the salt have destroyed my whole being and I end up ragequitting the game because of that?
This is UFONmans full playthrough of Resident Evil 8: Village (PC/STEAM/3RD Person View/2021) on Village of Shadows difficulty (HARDEST difficulty) on NEW GAME. I will be doing this in 3rd Person View, because I want to get that RE4R EXPERIENCE! NEW GAME means I won't be using Infinite Ammo, any Unlockable Weapons or new game+ Items. Just going in like I'd be starting a fresh playthrough. Yes. I am masochistic. This is one of the hardest (if not the hardest) things I've done and it's pretty much the limit of my "gamer skills". I know it's nothing special for many players, but I'm not a god gamer so this is actual insanity for me...
I have played this once before (a year ago) on STANDARD difficulty (in finnish), so this is a big jump for me. Surprisingly I remember a lot of things from that and possibly because I've actually seen a couple of speedruns of the game. Since I haven't done a playthrough for international audiences, I will be checking all the possible story/lore and I'm not skipping cutscenes the first time I encounter them. As such this actually works as a normal story playthrough also. Although I might talk over the cutscenes a bit...
Because I will be playing very safe and slowly, while snooping around everywhere, this playthrough might take some time and can also be considered somewhat of a "COMPLETIONIST" playthrough. If that isn't your cup of tea, you shouldn't watch. Commentary is in English and there's going to be lots of rage, whining and CURSING. So viewer discretion is advised! Will I end up ragequitting or will I finish the game? WE WILL SEE!
