Resident Evil Code Veronica Intro Sequence - Sega Dreamcast
These are strange and unsettling times across the globe as we all go into Lockdown. I'll be trying to upload a video a day if I can just to do my bit to make social distancing slightly more tolerable. Please respect the guidelines and let's all get through this together.
The Resident Evil series was synonymous with the first Sony PlayStation and quite the feather in their cap. While the first game came out on the Sega Saturn and there was a frankly astonishing port of the second game on Nintendo 64 the series was closely tied to Sony hardware.
Therefore it was quite the coup when Sega snagged the next mainline entry as an exclusive early title for it's new Sega Dreamcast console. Even more so that the power of the hardware allowed full 3D graphics rather than the pre-rendered backdrops, allowing lighting and more dynamic camera movement. While it later came out on many other platforms, losing it's exclusivity, it was first and foremost one of the premier titles on the system and a real treat for owners. A top game and preceded by one of the all time legendary intro sequences that set the scene perfectly.
That intro is here for your enjoyment through to when the game becomes playable.
As always if you enjoy this video let me know. As always this is running on original hardware. Also let me know if there are particular games or systems you'd like to see.
As always this is uploaded under the Fair Use Policy - no money is being made from this video.
