These are strange and unsettling times across the globe as we all go into Lockdown. I'll be trying to upload a video a day if I can just to do my bit to make social distancing slightly more tolerable. Please respect the guidelines and let's all get through this together.

Apologies for the long delay in uploading anything - I've had a nightmare with both my laptop and my capture card (plus my broadband has been at a crawl - although I am hoping in June to resolve this issue at least making it much easier to upload) which prevented me doing much. This is my longest video yet to make up for it. I am hoping to get back to pretty much daily videos from now on.

This is Abracadaball - essentially another variation of Zuma, itself inspired by Puzzloop/Ballistic. It takes the basic premise of Zuma, i.e. a number of coloured balls proceeding down a track, if they reach the end of the track you fail. You rotate a cannon and fire balls to match 3 or more of the same colour to make them disappear. Clear all of them and you clear the level. Similar to Puzzle Bobble too.

Abracadaball mixes this with a heavy Harry Potter influence but this works well allowing you to gain magical abilities and to cast magic spells - these range from clearing certain colours, slowing the progress of the balls, summoning creatures, firing off spells that clear any balls they touch and more. Other twists include the ability to move your cannon on some stages, portals and even boss battles. Detailed colourful graphics, good controls and enough variation to keep your interest make this an excellent mobile game.

It is included in the rather lovely GameLoft Classics 20th Anniversary pack. This is completely FREE and available on iOS and Android.

As always if you enjoy this video let me know.

As always this is uploaded under the Fair Use Policy - no money is being made from this video.
