Skill chosen: Timed Sticky Explosive
The Timed Sticky Explosive is not that useful in this mission, since it can't be used at long range and UBCS and spec ops avoid these when you throw them. But they can be used in two ways. You can make them stop attacking for a while because they need to dogde or you can try stick one grenade onto your enemy when he is in a stunning animation. The shotgun is almost useless in firefights with UBCS and spec ops and the pistol lacks a high fire rate which the primary weapon of every other character has.

Mission design (Containment): Only human enemies (UBCS and Spec Ops), fights across long distances and narrow space. Infection and Blood Frenzy probability is 0.
