Resident Evil Village (RE8) is my first Resident Evil game, but I loved it! It wasn't perfect, though. In this review of RE8 I discuss my overall thoughts on the game (focus on hardcore difficulty which is what I played it on), what I liked, what I didn't as well as a focus on PC performance. While I do a voiceover of my review, I feature gameplay with performance benchmarks captured at 1440p on my RTX 2070 with max settings and Ray Tracing on to medium (basically I use the "max" preset, and then turn on ray tracing which sets it to medium defaults).
