Three years after escaping the clutches of Eveline and the Baker family in Dulvey, Ethan and Mia have moved to Europe to start a new life and raise their newborn daughter Rosemary. However, one night, Chris Redfield and a team of soldiers raid their home, murder Mia, and abduct Ethan and Rosemary. Ethan loses consciousness and later wakes up next to a crashed transport truck, with all of the guards dead. A confused Ethan wanders into a nearby village that is under attack by an army of highly aggressive and mutated wolf-like creatures known as Lycans.
