The government of India has notified NPS rules for central govt employees covered under National Pension System through a gazette notification dated 30th March 2021.CCS(Implementation of NPS) Rules 2021 has been exclusively framed for the Central Govt employees, thus seperating it from others. ccs nps rule also provides for pension/family pension on the death/invalidation or disablement of the NPS subscriber and pension/Family pension on the death/invalidation/disability of the subscriber under NPS(Exit&Withdrawal)Rule 2015,CCS(Pension)Rule 1972 and CCS(Extraordinary Pension)Rule 1939.
