Restore your health for free in River City Ransom (NES) - A Wild Glitch Appears! #shorts
1,269In River City Ransom for the NES, there's an easy exploit you can exploit to restore your health for free in a two player game.
Normally when one of your characters is KO'd, he will disappear until the next screen or area is loaded. At that point, he will respawn with full health, but will have lost half of his money.
In a two player game however, there is a very easy glitch you can abuse to fully restore a character's health without losing any money.
All you need to do is have one character fall into a pit and die. After that character has left the screen, but BEFORE the game finishes telling you Alex/Ryan has lost all of his power, have your other character exit the area.
When you enter the new screen, you'll see that the character that jumped to his death will now have full HP, but will not have lost any money! It's pretty easy to time, and can probably be performed without falling into a pit (that is, if your character dies from normal means like from punches and such).
