4Retro classics is a game for game pass members,
One of the things you need is gems in order to buy collectibles.
I have made this guide to cover this as well as advice and tips, so you can figure out the best way to tackle the game.
The basics, collect daily gems of 150 a day when your low level and 3 daily Missions for 120 gems.
(You don't need to hit play on the game you can just click on the game wait till it loads and says play and then hit quit to get the reward - thanks gamingaddict for the tip) Tested and confirmed.
on top you can grind out to level 100 for 250 gems a day to grind will require you to launch and quit games for 10xp, win community challenges for 30xp or send versus challenges and win for 50xp.
As mentioned above, You can do community Challanges there is supposed to be a feature that displays a score, I have a trick that forces this feature to work thus it makes it easier to know what the score is you will be facing and determine if you can beat it, sadly due to changes they go for 24hrs now so you can lose even if you beat it by others failing to beat it so try to choose wisely, You pay 5 gems to have a go and earn 20 gems back some however give you 80 gems back so that's 15 - 75 gems you can make.
Bots can be used to bank roll any new player starts with 1k gems so you can then do Daily challenges on a bot to build a bank roll and send versus challenges to yourself as you can send multiple Ito collect your bots gems. Due to being able to bankroll I don't suggest having to many bots but the choice is all ways up to the person I used two bots to build up 5k gems on each for example.
The pros and cons
Meteor mayhem a meteorite comes from the top every time.
From Bot to main you don't have to do anything when sending it, but when going back and forth may accidently hit up and require to earn more score when you accept the challenge.
Whereas from Main to bot you have to hit up every time and can just quit out from the bot once it loads up.
The problem is you may not hit up which will lead to a draw, I made a few mistakes myself during this one. it may be quicker but can get quite boring fast.
Pitfall Swing
From bot to main, you just need to fall down ladder and head left into scorpion, then when main accepts heads left into pool of water to win.
Takes a while but your more active so less chance of mistakes
Main to bot you do the opposite, so head left into the water and bot only needs to either jump over to log and take some damage or fall down then you can pop up the menu and quit.
Slightly faster but also can be prone to mistakes.
Draws When you get a draw the gems will be returned to the challenger and no loss of gems is incurred however you will need to send the challenge again.
It cost just under 40k gems to buy everything.
