Retro console & video game collecting tips part 2: finding cheap games & trading for more pricey 1s
Here I have a few tips on how to turn games found on the cheap that may be worth more into more rare and expensive games.
Picture the scene you are looking in your local cex store and find a game worth over £100 so how can you afford it without breaking the bank? You can purchase games like the ones in my video or for example the Wii versions of Mario kart and Wii sports on the cheap from places like car boots, charity shops and even other second hand shops.
Some car boot sellers may not be fully aware of the real value of these games or could be property clearance specialists offloading their items from properties they have already been paid to clear for less than their true values.
Charity shops may also just be clearing items on the cheap though some can and do research prices of items first before pricing them up - it really depends on each individual charity shop and if the volunteers conduct their research first.
Hopefully this video will give you some tips on how and where to purchase items either to resell or trade in to cex for credit to buy more expensive games and even consoles.
