Retro Friday - Rune - 01 - The Viking Way!
11In a slight departure from previous Retro Friday's we moving into the noughties and embark on the first of a multi part series on a single game. Kicking off this new format is the classic Viking hack and slash adventure, Rune. A fantastic game I played for many many hours and am looking forward to playing though again! :)
The intention is to do a complete play through Let's Play although as it's quite a long game I'll likely skip sections of gameplay and/or edit heavily to move the story along and finish in a reasonable number of episodes.
The classic Viking third-person hack-and-slash melee action game is now available on Steam. This release, known as Rune Classic, contains the original Rune content, plus the multiplayer expansion pack Halls of Valhalla. Experience an exciting single player storyline where you thwart Loki and his minions from bringing Ragnarok to Midgard that will keep you entertained for hours.
