I ventured out to Momotaro Kingdom in Goi, Saitama, Japan and discovered a treasure trove of retro gaming goodness. This shop had rare Famicom games, highly sought-after Sega Saturn shooters, and some surprising bargains in the Dreamcast stacks.
There was no shortage of hardware! This visit marked my first time spotting a Nintendo Switch 2 in the wild. Still, I was more drawn to the Neo Geo CDZ and the clear smoke Sega Saturn on display. And I can’t forget the handhelds—they had almost everything covered!
Compared to the Momotaro Kingdom in Kisarazu, Chiba, this location was a bit pricier, but the Goi shop had an equally (if not more) impressive selection of retro games and hardware.
