Retro Gaming Capture Test 10 Part 2 | Sega Mega CD 2
More testing of gaming rigs I am building, where I would like each device to be played very quickly without any wiring and also to be able to capture footage where possible with just a few switches turned on. The point of these videos is to see how this type of set up can be done with different devices and maybe help anyone else trying to do a similar thing with a mix of old and new hardware.
Back again with Sega Mega CD 2. This should be an upgrade with the RAD2X cable although many games are not likely to show it at its best from what I hear about Sega CD games, hoping to find some good ones though as I'm sure they can't all be mediocre. Using the one game I had for the first test for a direct comparison as well as 2 more I recently picked up to see for any improvements, this will likely be the set up I will use for some time for sharing any CD games I get. Sound seems weird on some parts of games, not sure why the Elgato seems to be capturing like that, although the sound is not always great on some of these CD games from what I can tell so far, it does sound better for me through the display when playing.
