Retro Gaming Capture Test 23 Part 1 | Sega Master System
More testing of gaming rigs I am building, where I would like each device to be played very quickly without any wiring and also to be able to capture footage where possible with just a few switches turned on. The point of these videos is to see how this type of set up can be done with different devices and maybe help anyone else trying to do a similar thing with a mix of old and new hardware.
Twenty third to get tested on power up is the Sega Master System 2, unfortunately this system only comes with RF output as standard and I have not done any modifications yet. I do have the Genesis Power Base Convertor which can be used with my Megadrive 1 to get the image captured using the same signal adapter I am currently using with the Megadrive. It seems to work quite well although there is a deep constant noise on the sound that appears to be linked with the power base adapter. Also with no obvious problems for now using the HDMI splitter or the capture device.
