Retro Gaming Capture Test 23 Part 7 | Sega Master System
More testing of gaming rigs I am building, where I would like each device to be played very quickly without any wiring and also to be able to capture footage where possible with just a few switches turned on. The point of these videos is to see how this type of set up can be done with different devices and maybe help anyone else trying to do a similar thing with a mix of old and new hardware.
Back with the Master System and the Pound convertor again, but this time also with the mClassic. With the aspect ratio and screen position being reasonable again much the same as the last test with this cable, if the lag can be overlooked I thought this would be quite a good option as also able to get the 1080P60 signal. But as I tried to capture the video I came across a few problems, twice I had the capture crash on me and twice I had issues with the sound which seemed to be something to do with the cable from the pound adapter. So thoughts at the end were yes it may be ok, but if it does not work well consistently then with that and some lag which may be a problem with certain games then I am put off a little, I may want to try something else before I capture much game videos.
