More testing of gaming rigs I am building, where I would like each device to be played very quickly without any wiring and also to be able to capture footage where possible with just a few switches turned on. The point of these videos is to see how this type of set up can be done with different devices and maybe help anyone else trying to do a similar thing with a mix of old and new hardware.

Another device that has been available for quite some time, but I did not get just after the release. Having already purchased The C64 Mini, later I thought the full size version which comes with a better quality joystick, a few extra connection ports and a full working keyboard built in was a nice idea and I planned to get one to add to my collection. A simple job again with this full size version to connect and capture with HDMI output, easy to hook up to one of my HDMI splitters and the Elgato capture device. First for the test video a quick look through all the games, descriptions and a few extra settings that are to be found on the main screens on the device as delivered. Next after this is to update the firmware to the latest version, which will include fixes, extra features and a few extra games. Then onto playing some more of the games and checking out what this full size version has to offer as I learn how to use it.

Console: The C64
Model: RGL004
Display: Samsung Model UE40H6500ST
Convertor: Not needed, HDMI output
HDMI Splitter: AwakeLion Model HDSW0015M1
Capture: Elgato HD60S
Game Titles: Various built in games when standard. Advertised to have 64.
