Retro Gaming Capture Test 42 Part 2 | Commodore Amiga A500
More testing of gaming rigs I am building, where I would like each device to be played very quickly without any wiring and also to be able to capture footage where possible with just a few switches turned on. The point of these videos is to see how this type of set up can be done with different devices and maybe help anyone else trying to do a similar thing with a mix of old and new hardware.
Back with my first Commodore Amiga device, the A500 with the 1 Meg upgrade for a second test. Using the new Scart cable and the Elgato once again, but now with the OSSC convertor to get a low lag solution to convert the signal to HDMI. This time I tested with the same games as before but focused more on a bit of gameplay as the aspect ratio should be much better than the cheap solution before. The Monster stick and buttons seems to work very nicely from first impressions. Looks like a good enough set up to capture some gameplay for other videos and explore what game titles the Amiga has to offer.
