Beast and Bumpkins is a Retro RTS (Real Time Strategy) game with an unfortunate amount of RNG based play. The jist is you're the leader of a band of bumpkin humans on your journey back to the main land. Now the map and every thing in it is preset. But the RNG comes in when you're trying to get more children. It's completely random whether they decide to start making babies in this game and they lifespan of everyone is only like 3 in game years, which takes about 15mins and then they retire and become essentially useless.

But that was part of the charm of this classic game. You can know everything there is to know and still fail the first mission just because they decided not to have children this time. It was a childhood favorite of mine and just playing it again brought back so many good memories. - Let's give it a GO!
