[Synopsis]
This video show you how to install and use Retroarch on a old Android smartphone. If you have any old Android smartphones in your home, you can use it for Retroarch. Some of these old smartphones have pretty powerful ARM based CPUs. The Samsung Galaxy S4 SGH-M919 smartphone had a Krait 300 CPU, and it was based on the ARMv7A core. The performance was very similar to the ARM Cortex A15 line of CPUs, and these CPUs were 32 bit processors. The version of Android used on this phone is Android 4.2.2, and this was a 32 bit operating system.
When you use a old Android smartphone, you have to know what kind of operating system you are using. This will give you an option to use the 32 bit or 64 bit version of Retroarch. You can use a 32 bit program on a 64 bit operating system, but you cannot use a 64 bit program in a 32 bit operating system.
You can turn your old Android phone into a retro gaming console.
