Retrocade MIGHTY FINAL FIGHT by Capcom - NES - A DECENT GAME?
8I fired up the Retrocade this week, and I gave Mighty FF a bit of attention. Now I'm a Final Fight fan, but I've not owned a NES at any point in my life, so I hadn't played this game back in the day - I've read people are into it, which made me Mighty FF curious.
It's....decent. On the positive side it has all three characters to play as (in your face SNES!) the two button action is fun for the most part, the music is familiar to fans of the series, and the graphics are nicely drawn and super cute. On the downside the graphics flicker heavily, I've not seen more than 2 bad guys on screen at one time, the boss fights are odd and repetitive in a bad way (for example, Sodom only being susceptible to jumping attacks with Haggar) and the collision detection is the wrong side of annoying. However, overall this is a decent game, I'm glad it's on the Retrocade.
