RetroRunner v.Beta Gameplay/Impression - Part (2/3) - l0stw0lf plays
2Retro Runner is an irreverent side scrolling adventure that takes gamers on a trip through video game history, while also poking fun at some of the clichés and conventions of video games in general. In Retro Runner, players assume the role of a princess who gets tired of waiting to be rescued and instead breaks herself out of the dungeon in which she has been trapped. Players must then complete five distinct castle levels, each one styled after a different era in console gaming. References to classic games of yesteryear are scattered throughout Retro Runner and the graphics and sound evolve with each subsequent level.
