Want a detective puzzle game where merpeople can be a suspect? Then check out this condensed version of the Cheapness affordable gaming review of Return of the Obra Dinn [Episode 88]

This is a condensed version of the review of Return of the Obra Dinn (By Lucas Pope) that shows how the game:
-Tasks you with figuring out what happened to all the people on a ghost ship by being transported to the moment of a person's death (Who died, how and by whom if they didn't just drown of something - some compare it to Clue/ Cluedo)
-This makes for a uniquely logical puzzling experience as you hear what transpired followed by a 3d still you can move about in and inspect and say you hear someone is referred to by a specific nationality, you can cross reference with the crew log and make the conclusion that one of these people were present at the scene (It's brilliant because usually when puzzle games are more logic and observation based they tend to be easier but this gives an appropriate level of challenge and it's all intertwined with the story so it doesn't feel like a pure puzzler and is less draining)
-But figuring out their fates is all you do so all that detective work can still produce brain heat
-The story is ok in that it's predictable in some ways (You get fed enough information that you can guess at the big picture before you have all of the information) and in total the amount of story is probably not that long if you were to sequentially arrange it as a film or something. A lot of times the scenes are multiple sections of the same battle across time or are scenes that need to be audibly comprehensible (So you can reason what happened by ear) instead of emotional (Some deaths are matter of fact and others are more touching because you've connected to a crew member across multiple scenes)
-The order in which info is divulged is perfect though and makes it more intriguing and somehow the seemingly not profound ending was actually the perfect place to end things
-Nice music that delivers a nautical feel with a big orchestral sound but in a less on the nose way (But the music stays the same across scenes for an entire chapter so sometimes it may be a bit tonally strange in that a rousing adventurous tune plays while something horrific happens to the crew)
-Great audio design that does the imagination legwork of relaying what's happening in a non-visual way while still making you understand what happened and as said this adds to the challenge through withholding certain information... otherwise the game would have much less of a point (The voice acting is good too)
-Beautiful wire graphics that shows off the ship realistically as far as I can tell (Maybe a bit grainy and hazy at times but the haze has a purpose, and the edge has charm because that's what makes wire graphics)
