Yep, more mining. It's just part of the 4-5 hour long process that everyone needs to go through to get the materials to be able to even have a remote chance of surviving the boss fights later in the game. Like I said, not much happens for the next few episodes, but if you come back around episode 7 I can guarantee you'll get to see some new biome exploration and boss fights (because I literally just recorded 3 hours of me doing exactly that).
