The beginning of the Version 2 saga in Reverse: 1999, and we're in San Francisco. A fun event coming off of the emotional rollercoaster of 1.9, with some moments in this event referencing the aftermath of that (needless to say, spoilers for that so I recommend Chapter 7 stuff before this!) as well as slight Easter Eggs regarding 2.1.

In Haight Street lives a young man known as Joe Brown, or simply J. With good friends such as Hollick and Becket, J is always down to help out those in need in this relatively underground alleyway with the help of his motorcycle and Bowie Knife. J does however embark on a little journey with a gentleman-like mannequin known as Pioneer, having a sense of style and business, as well as a certain "French Fry", nicknamed by J.

But then we have Mercuria, a mysterious girl who simply goes wherever the flow of cosmic energy dictates. This takes her to all kinds of places, from the New Age Market to...Manus Vindictae?!?!

A lot more unfolds in this event. From disco vibes and fun times to a...not so carefree time to say the least, it's quite the journey in San Francisco this time around! I enjoyed this one, the disco music in general was so awesome to listen to, although it was always going to be unfortunate in coming straight after 1.9's insane Chapter 7. Still, I enjoyed this for what it was, and the 2.1 event story may or may not be in connection with this one in small details...
